Admission Requirements

Prospective students applying for admission to the International Doctoral Program in Asia-Pacific Studies (IDAS) must meet the admission requirements and complete the enrollment process in due time.

To graduate from the International Doctoral Program in Asia-Pacific Studies (IMAS)students must meet a number of requirements and criteria.

 

The program is designed to be completed in 4 years with a maximum study time of 7 years. During this time students must complete a total of 30 credits of graduate-level courses, including 6 credits of required courses.

Scholarships for new comers

Prospective applicants to the IDAS program are offered different scholarships by the Taiwan Government and National Chengchi University. You can learn more about the financial support programs here.

Chinese Language Center

Taiwan is an ideal place for international students who want to learn Mandarin Chinese. Environment certainly is essential for students who wish to gain full immersion to target language and fasten the speed to pick up a new language. There is a rising trend of Chinese teaching in China, but Taiwan has more than half of the century long history of teaching Chinese.
