Work Permit

  /    /  Work Permit

As an international student of the International Master's Program Of Applied Economics and Social Development (IMES), there are regulations that you need to comply with to live, study and work in Taiwan.

All students that wish to take jobs while studying in Taiwan must apply for a Work Permit from the Ministry of Labor. Failing to do so could cause you problems and fines. Please verify that you are allowed to take jobs before doing so. These procedures must be done through the IMES office and the university. Please consider that scholarship recipient students must meet additional criteria before applying for a work permit.
