On March 5 and 6, the International Master’s Program in Asia-Pacific Studies (IMAS) at National Chengchi University (NCCU) partnered with the Graduate Institute of Futures Studies (GIFS) and the Department of Diplomacy and International Relations (DDIR) at Tamkang University (TKU) to jointly conduct an academic workshop in Tamsui.

The Graduate Institute of Futures Studies (GIFS) and the Department of Diplomacy and International Relations (DDIR) at Tamkang University (TKU), will hold a joint workshop, titled “Taiwan in the Asia-Pacific: Between Past and Future,” with IMAS on March 5th ~6th, 2021.

Our IMAS students have finally made it to Matsu, one of the outlying islands of Taiwan. The proximity to Mainland China makes this place a very special opportunity to grasp a deeper understanding in Cross-Strait relations.

This workshop in October will take place on the Matsu Campus of the National Taiwan Ocean University.

During the weekend of May 22-23, National Chengchi University (NCCU) students participated in a workshop titled “Ocean Development and Regional Revitalization: An International Exchange”.

Last weekend, our students from IMAS had the great opportunity to attend the IMAS-LOHAS Workshop at Fo Guang University (FGU) in Jiaoxi, Yilan County. The participants held presentations on the industrial revival of their home countries. Students of the Department for Future Studies and LOHAS Industry at FGU introduced their projects and hands-on experience on integrated sustainability and social responsibility.
