Admission Requirements
Prospective students applying for admission to the International Master’s Program in Asia-Pacific Studies (IMAS) must meet the admission requirements and complete the enrollment process in due time.
International applicants may pay attention to the information on the NCCU Admission website: NCCU Admission
International Students
The IMAS program has a quota of 40 spaces for international students. Admission into the program is on the review of the following materials:
- 2 letters of recommendation
- IMAS Program Application Form and Essays (Please download “IMAS Program Application Form” and the essay questions through the web linkage below)
- Transcripts of English proficiency tests: Photocopy of valid TOEFL/IELTS transcripts or other
Taiwan Local Students
The IMAS program has a quota of 19 spaces for local Taiwan students. Admission into the program is based 50% on the review of the following materials:
- 2 letters of recommendation
- IMAS Program Application Form and Essays (Please download “IMAS Program Application Form” and the essay questions through the web linkage below)
- Photocopy of valid TOEFL/IELTS transcripts or other
The remaining 50% of the admission decision is based on an Oral Exam:
- Time, date, and place for the oral test will be published on the website 3 days before the oral test. Candidates should check the Internet by themselves.
